Ann was discovered when she was performing at an event for Vogue's fashion together with her band. Diana Vreeland ordered Ann to perform her first Vogue photograph shoot with Richard Avedon within one week. Ann later became one of the most sought-after models across the country, appearing on cover images for some of the largest fashion magazines. They included Vogue Bazaar as well Cosmopolitan. Ann was a model who had success for Europe, Japan and other global markets for about two months. Ann was the model for giants of cosmetics like Max Factor Revlon or Chanel.
