Jill AND Mary

Jillian Noel Shennessy born 25th November, 1968, in Canada is a Canadian actress and musician that was acknowledged for her contribution in American television. She is renowned for her stellar performances in the American television show Law & Order where she was awe-inspiring for the viewers over three seasons as the prosecutor Claire Kincaid and Crossing Jordan wherein she played the protagonist Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. Hennessy has also demonstrated her talent as an actor through films like RoboCop 3 Most Wanted and independent movies Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class and The Acting Class, in which she flexed her writing and co-directing muscles. Hennessy kickstarted her acting career alongside her sister in 1988 as two call-girls in Dead Ringers. She appeared briefly in Buddy the Musical - The Buddy Holly Story in Broadway in 1990. Then, in 1993 she left the realm of musicals to enter the genre of sci-fi as the character Dr. Marie Lazarus. In the following year, her biggest break was when she was cast in NBC's smash show Law & Order to play District Attorney Assistant Claire Kincaid. This role captivated the audience for three seasons before the show ended in 1996. Mary Louise Parker.......................Mary-Louise Parker (born August 2 1964, height 5' 7 1/2" (1,71 m)) is an American actress best known for her current lead role on Showtime's television series Weeds portraying Nancy Botwin for which she has received several nominations and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in 2006. Parker appeared in series and films such as RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys On The Side, West Wing Angels in America as well as RED Fried Tomatoes. For these, she received a Golden Globe Award and Emmy Award. Parker won the Tony Award 2001 for Best Actress in the Broadway production Proof.
