Winona-Ryder

Winona Laura Horowitz, professionally referred to by the name Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her after her hometown. Michel Horowitz was her father and Cynthia Palmer, his mother, were both authors and editors. Ryder's father and mother are both Jewish. Ryder believes herself to be Jewish. Ryder is the younger sister of Uria who is half-sister to Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder moved together with her family to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. In those days, there were no electric lights. Ryder read a lot due to the absence of television. Ryder started taking acting classes at the American Conservatory Theatre when she turned 12 years old. Lucas the film, which was released in 1986 which was her first big part. Ryder was only 15 when she got it. Ryder was bullied in her high school. Her acting career, she hoped, would help her. But it wasn't to come to pass. However, she pushed on with her dream. Her big break occurred in the year 1988, when Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder had a successful role in numerous films. She received nominations for two Academy Awards one for her performance in The Age of Innocence (1993).
