Reese Witherspoon's acting career started to grow following her enrollment at Stanford University. Her early critical successes included roles in films such as Pleasantville and Election however it was her performance as Elle Woods in the box office smash Legally Blonde that marked a pivotal moment in her career. In addition to her acting work as a performer, she's appeared in films such as The Dictator or The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. Apart from her acting career she is an experienced painter who exhibits her work at several galleries.
